My name is Monicka Clio Sakki. I’m an artist, designer and writer engaged in anything that combines plenty of colors, decorative forms, imaginative places and found objects.
My sources of inspiration are not always immediate in my art, but since I was a child I have been collecting magazine pages of home decor, fabric patterns, boxes, greeting cards, playing cards and all sorts of toys and illustrated books. Nowdays I like to take photos of abundance in the form of store fronts and shop decorations, fruits and sweets. Living an urban life has also forced me to find the beauty of man-made nature in buildings.
